About a month ago, a good friend of mine asked me to write an article
for gmc TV – The Gospel Music Channel – for their Uplift Someone Campaign. I would write it on Cross Point’s endless mission of serving. I think because I am so passionate about serving as well my church, it was easily one of the hardest things I’ve written. Not for lack of information, but for lack of the right words to truly express the amazing love displayed every day by my church family. Over the past few months I have ridden a roller coaster of trials and celebrations. God has more than blessed me with incredible friendships, opportunities, and what I hope is growth, even though some days it has felt like set backs. I try not to take any of that for granted. I’m extremely thankful to have been given the chance to write this article, and hope that it will, at the very least, make you think about what God’s purpose for us in this life is.
